Revenue seizes cocaine at Dublin Airport
In two separate intelligence-led operations over the weekend, officers from Revenue’s Customs Service seized approximately a quarter of a kilo of cocaine with a street value of €21,000 at Dublin Airport.
€16,800 worth of cocaine was discovered in the luggage of an Irish male in his twenties who was departing for Ibiza on Friday (7/8/2015).
In the second operation on Saturday (8/8/2015) two Irish males aged 36 and 24, also travelling to Ibiza, were found to be in possession of 30 grammes of cocaine each. A sum of €8,100 was also seized under the proceeds of crime legislation.
All three men were arrested by Gardaí and investigations are ongoing.
