Revenue seizes suspected herbal cannabis worth €70,000 in Wicklow

Yesterday morning (10/10/2018), Revenue officers seized approximately 3.6kgs of suspected herbal cannabis, with an estimated street value of €70,000 during a search, under warrant, of a house in Bray, Co. Wicklow.

The seizure was made as a result of a joint operation conducted by Revenue’s Customs Service, Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau and Gardaí from the Drugs Unit in Bray Garda station. An Irish man in his forties was arrested and detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at Bray Garda station. Investigations are ongoing.
