Summary

Richard Redden, aged 50, with an address at Old Long Hill, Kilmacanogue, Bray, Co. Wicklow, pleaded guilty to the following offences under Section 1078 of the Taxes Consolidation Act 1997:

  • Failure to file an Income Tax return for the years 2005, 2008 and 2009. (3 counts)

Outcome

On 28 July 2015, in Wicklow Circuit Criminal Court, Judge O’Shea sentenced Mr. Redden to two and a half years imprisonment on each count, to run concurrently, but he suspended the sentence in full and required Mr. Redden to enter into a bond of €200 to be of good behavior for a period of two and a half years.
