James Mahon with an address at 93 Ballyshannon Road, Coolock, Dublin 5 pleaded guilty to the following offences under Section 1078 of the Taxes Consolidation Act 1997:

• Failing without reasonable excuse to submit an Income Tax return for each of the years 2003, 2006 and 2009 (3 counts)

Outcome

On 15 February 2016 at Dublin Circuit Court, Judge Greally sentenced James Mahon to 2 and a half years imprisonment with the final 18 months suspended for 18 months on each of the three counts; all sentences to be concurrent.
