How will the Automated Import System (AIS) impact your business?

You must use the AIS to submit the following electronic customs import declarations:

  • Electronic Transport Document (ETD/D3)
  • Customs import, or simplified import, declarations for every consignment
  • Presentation Notification (PN/G3)
  • Temporary Storage Declaration (TSD/G4)
  • supplementary declaration (where required).

Note

If you lodge, or plan to lodge, export declarations, you must use the Automated Export System (AES) using the relevant AES software.
