Changing your bank details for LPT

Monthly Direct Debit (MDD) or Annual Debit Instruction (ADI)

You should update your Local Property Tax (LPT) payment method if you:

  • have recently changed your back account
  • and
  • pay your LPT charge through Monthly Direct Debit (MDD) or Annual Debit Instruction (ADI).

To do this:

  1. Sign in to the LPT online service (you will need your Personal Public Service Number (PPSN), unique Property ID and secure PIN).
  2. Under 'Payments', select the dropdown.
  3. Select 'All' and click 'View Details'.
  4. Click 'Amend'.
  5. Select 'Monthly Direct Debit' or 'Annual Debit Instruction' from the dropdown as applicable.
  6. Enter your new IBAN and select ‘Continue’.
  7. Enter your secure PIN and click 'Sign and Submit'.

Note

If you pay your LPT through ADI, Revenue will deduct payment on 21 March 2027, unless you select an earlier date. Once we deduct the payment, you will be unable to amend your details.
