Non-resident first licence applicants

You will need to complete below before applying for your licence:

• application for a Certificate of Personal Fitness
• registration for Revenue Online Service (ROS)
• application for tax clearance.

Application for a Tax Reference Number

If you are not already registered for tax in Ireland, you must apply for a Tax Reference Number before you can apply for tax clearance, (ROS) and your licence.

An application for a Tax Reference Number for licensing purposes will not result in the person or company concerned becoming registered in Ireland:

• for any purpose other than applying for a remote operator’s licence
  or
• for any tax other than Betting Intermediary Duty.
