I lead a collaborative team that transforms raw administrative data into insights which directly inform national tax policy decisions and debate.

We work with large-scale datasets spanning Customs, VAT and other indirect taxes to support policy development, evaluation and analysis of tax and duty collections. Our team recently developed integrated dashboards providing a consolidated analytical view across the majority of indirect taxes. We continue to advance our capabilities through novel projects using a modern technology stack.

One of the most enjoyable aspects of working in Revenue is the perspective it offers. Our analysis spans the full breadth of indirect taxation, allowing us to see the real-world impact of policy decisions. My team and I regularly represent Revenue at international working groups, engagements that considerably enrich our domestic work.

My background in science, statistics, and quality aligns well with Revenue, enabling evidence-based collaboration with the Department of Finance, CSO, and internal stakeholders The variety within my role means no two weeks are ever the same. I find the work both intellectually stimulating and genuinely rewarding.
