Summary
On 30 July 2025 Judge Sheehan ordered the forfeiture to the Exchequer, pursuant to Section 39 of the Criminal Justice Act 1994, of cash amounting to €9850 which had been seized and detained on the 01 February 2022 by Revenue Officers at Dublin Airport. The cash was ordered to be forfeited as the Court was satisfied that it was proven on the balance of probabilities to represent the proceeds of crime or was intended for use in criminal conduct.
