Revenue and An Garda Síochána seize cocaine in Dublin

This morning (15/09/17), in Dublin’s south inner-city, and as part of a joint, intelligence-led operation conducted by Revenue, the Garda National Drugs & Organised Crime Bureau and the Kevin Street drugs unit, Revenue officers seized a package containing approximately 142g of cocaine, with an estimated value of €10,000, which had originated in the Netherlands.  

A 28 year old Irish woman was arrested at the scene and is being detained at Kevin Street Garda Station under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996. Investigations are ongoing.
