Revenue seize MDMA worth €33,000 in Dublin.

Today (24/05/2019), in an intelligence led operation, Revenue Officers seized approximately 560 grams of MDMA with an estimated street value of €33,000, during a search, under warrant, of a house in Dollymount, Dublin.

The seizure was made as a result of a joint intelligence-led operation conducted by Revenue’s Customs Service, Gardaí from the Clontarf Drugs Unit and the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau. A 23-year old Irish man was arrested at the scene by Gardai. He was brought to Raheny Garda station where he is being detained under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.

Investigations are ongoing.
