Revenue seize herbal cannabis worth €44,000 in Shannon Airport
Yesterday (09/06/2020), as a result of routine operations, Revenue officers seized over 2kgs of herbal cannabis with an estimated value of €44,000 in Shannon Airport. The illegal drugs were discovered in 4 different packages in a freight consignment that originated in Milan, Italy. All packages were destined for an address in Galway.
Investigations are ongoing.
