Revenue seize cannabis worth over €34,000 at Dublin Mail Centre
Today (14/08/2020), as a result of routine operations, and with the assistance of detector dog Bailey, Revenue officers at Dublin Mail Centre seized over 1.7kgs of herbal cannabis with an estimated value of over €34,000.
The illegal drugs were discovered in four separate parcels which originated from Canada & the United States. The parcels were declared as items such as ‘Lego Starwars X-Wing’, ‘Fortnite Nerf Gun’, ‘A Book’ and ‘Marvel Backpack’ and all were destined for delivery to addresses in Dublin and Kildare.
Investigations are ongoing.
