Revenue seize drugs worth almost €266,000 in Dublin
Yesterday (17/10/2022), as part of routine operations and with the assistance of detector dog Sam, Revenue officers examining parcels at a premises in Dublin seized almost 29kgs of cannabis infused edibles and 13kgs of herbal cannabis with a combined estimated value of €266,000.
The illegal drugs were discovered in parcels that originated in the United States, declared as items such as ‘Lego’ and ‘Blackberry’, and were destined for addresses across the country.
Investigations are ongoing.
