Revenue seize herbal cannabis worth €2,400,000 in Meath

On Tuesday, 23/04/2024, as part of an intelligence-led joint operation involving Revenue’s Customs Service and the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB), Revenue officers seized approximately 120kgs of herbal cannabis with an estimated value of €2,400,000 in the Meath area.

Two men in their 50s were arrested by An Garda Síochána and are currently detained at a Garda Station in County Meath under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.

Investigations are ongoing.
