Revenue seize herbal cannabis worth €348,400 at Dublin Airport

On 05/05/2025, as a result of risk profiling, Revenue officers seize 17.4 kg of herbal cannabis at Dublin Airport with an estimated value of €348,400.

The cannabis was discovered concealed in vacuum packed packages within the baggage of a passenger who had disembarked a flight from Los Angeles. A male in his 20s was subsequently arrested by An Garda Síochána in relation to the seizure and has since appeared before the courts.

Investigations are ongoing.

These seizures are part of Revenue's ongoing operations targeting organised crime groups and the importation, sale and supply of illegal drugs.
