Revenue seize herbal cannabis worth €1.1 million in Dublin Port
On 07/06/2025, Revenue officers seized approximately 55kgs of herbal cannabis, with an estimated value of €1.1 million, at Dublin Port.
The seizure was made as a result of risk profiling, following the search of a truck which had arrived from the UK. The illicit drugs were discovered hidden in vacuum-sealed packages within the sleeping compartment of the truck.
One male in his 30s was arrested by An Garda Síochána. He has since appeared before the courts.
Investigations are ongoing.
This seizure is part of Revenue’s ongoing investigations involving organised crime groups and the importation, sale and supply of illegal drugs.
