Revenue seize alcohol worth €93,235 at Dublin Port

On Friday (01/08/2025), Revenue officers seized 23,382 litres of beer, with an estimated value of €93,235, at Dublin Port. The seizure was made as a result of risk profiling. The illicit alcohol consisted of approximately 23,382 litres of beer and represented a loss to the Exchequer of almost €43,665.

The consignment was seized when Revenue officers stopped and searched an unaccompanied container that had disembarked a ship from Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Investigations are ongoing.
