Revenue seize herbal cannabis worth over €3 million in Rosslare Europort
On 23/08/2025, Revenue Officers seized approximately 150.6 kgs of herbal cannabis at Rosslare Europort with an estimated street value of €3,012,000. The drugs were discovered when, as a result of routine profiling, an accompanied freight unit that had disembarked a ferry from Bilbao, Spain, was stopped and searched.
A man in his 50s was arrested by An Garda Síochána and is currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at a Garda Station in Co. Wexford.
