Revenue seize cocaine worth €980,000 at Dublin Port
On Monday, 25/08/2025, as a result of an intelligence led operation, Revenue Officers at Dublin Port seized approximately 14 kgs of cocaine. The cocaine has an estimated value of €980,000.
Two men, one in his 30s and the other in his 20s, are currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at a Garda Station in Dublin. They have both been charged and are due to appear before the evening sitting of the Criminal Courts of Justice Dublin today, Wednesday 27 August 2025. Investigations are ongoing.
This seizure is part of Revenue's ongoing operations targeting organised crime groups and the importation, sale and supply of illegal drugs.
