Revenue seize herbal cannabis worth €380,000 in Dublin
On 23/09/2025, as a result of a joint operation conducted in the DMR West by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB), Drug Unit Serious Crime South and Revenue’s Customs Service, Revenue officers seized 19kg of herbal cannabis with an estimated value of €380,000 in Dublin.
One male in his 40s was arrested by An Garda Síochána following the seizure and is currently being detained in a Garda station in West Dublin under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
Investigations remain ongoing at present.
