Revenue seize cocaine with an estimated value of €14.2 million in Rosslare

On 18/10/2025, as a result of routine profiling, Revenue officers seized approximately 202.50 kgs of cocaine at Rosslare Europort. The illicit drugs, with an estimated value of approximately €14.2 million, were discovered when an accompanied freight unit had disembarked a ferry from Dunkirk, France, was stopped and searched by Customs officers.

A man in his 30s was arrested by An Garda Síochána and is currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at a Garda Station in the South East Region.
