Joint operation results in a drug seizure valued at approximately €4.4 million
On 14/11/2025, as part of intelligence led operations, a total of 220 kg of herbal cannabis, with an estimated value of €4.4 million, was seized by Revenue Customs officers. The seizure was made as a result of a joint operation involving Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB) and Revenue Customs Service.
A further 10.5 kg of herbal cannabis, with an estimated value of €210,000, and €10,000 in cash, were seized by An Garda Síochána in follow-up searches.
Four men aged in their 30s were arrested and are being detained in Garda stations in Dublin and Kildare under the provisions of Section 50 of Criminal Justice Act 2007.
Investigations are ongoing.
