Revenue seize herbal cannabis worth €3,080,000 at Dublin Airport

On Saturday, 13 December, Revenue officers at Dublin Airport seized 154 kg of herbal cannabis, with the assistance of detector dog Meabh. The cannabis has an estimated value of approximately €3,080,000.

The cannabis was concealed in vacuum packed packages in boxes labelled as “Kitchen Hoods”. They originated in America and were destined for an address in Dublin. Investigations are ongoing.

This seizure is part of Revenue's ongoing operations targeting organised crime groups and the importation, sale and supply of illegal drugs.
