Revenue seize herbal cannabis worth over €475,000 at Dublin Airport

On 11/02/2026, as part of routine operations, Revenue officers at Dublin Airport seized 23.8 kg of herbal cannabis. The cannabis has an estimated value of over €475,000.

The cannabis was discovered concealed in vacuum packed packages within the baggage of a passenger who had disembarked a flight originating from Malaysia. A woman in her 20s was subsequently arrested by An Garda Síochána and is currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996 at a Dublin Garda Station. 

Investigations are ongoing.

This seizure is part of Revenue's ongoing operations targeting organised crime groups and the importation, sale and supply of illegal drugs.
