Revenue seize herbal cannabis worth over €615,000 at Dublin Airport
On 17/06/2026, as part of routine profiling, Revenue officers seized approximately 30.7 kg of herbal cannabis at Dublin Airport. The illicit drugs have an estimated value of over €615,000.
The cannabis was discovered concealed in vacuum packed packages within the baggage of a passenger who had disembarked a flight originating in Thailand. One male, aged in his 20s, was arrested by An Garda Síochána and has since been charged and appeared before the Criminal Courts of Justice on 18/06/2026.
Investigations are ongoing.
This seizure is part of Revenue's ongoing operations targeting organised crime groups and the importation, sale and supply of illegal drugs.
