Revenue seize herbal cannabis worth €3 million at Dublin Airport

On 16/07/2026, as part of routine operations, Revenue officers at Dublin Airport seized approximately 150 kg of herbal cannabis. The illicit drugs have an estimated value of €3 million.

The cannabis was discovered concealed in a freight consignment declared as ‘Lighting’. The consignment originated in the USA and was destined for an address in Dublin.

Investigations are ongoing.

These seizures are part of Revenue's ongoing operations targeting organised crime groups and the importation, sale and supply of illegal drugs.
