Revenue seize cocaine worth over €230,000 at Dublin Airport

On 23/07/2026, as part of routine operations, Revenue officers at Dublin Airport seized approximately 3.3 kg of cocaine.  The illicit drugs have an estimated value of over €230,000.

The cocaine was discovered when Revenue officers stopped and searched the baggage of a passenger who had disembarked a flight originating in Brazil.

One male, aged in his 20s, was subsequently arrested and charged by An Garda Síochána and on 24/07/2026, appeared before the Criminal Courts of Justice.

Investigations are ongoing.

This seizure is part of Revenue's ongoing operations targeting organised crime groups and the importation, sale and supply of illegal drugs.
