Joint operation results in drug seizure valued at over €1.7 million
On 20/10/2026, as part of an intelligence led operation involving Revenue’s Custom Service, Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB) and Dublin North Central Divisional Drugs Unit, approximately 17.35 kg of suspected cocaine was seized in Dublin.
The illicit drugs have an estimated value of over €1.7 million.
Two males, aged in their 30s and 50s, were arrested and are being detained in a Garda Station in Dublin under the provisions of Section 2 of Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
Investigations are ongoing.
