Commercial goods or Merchandise In Baggage
Customs controls when exporting commercial goods in baggage
An export declaration is only required when commercial goods contained in your baggage are to be exported to a country outside the European Union (EU). The declaration must be completed in the Member State where the export movement started.
The export declaration must be accompanied by any other export documents that may be required, for example, an export licence, if the goods are prohibited or restricted.
Where a customs declaration is required, you may wish to avail of the services of a customs clearance agent to deal with the formalities, although they will charge for their services.
