How to inform Revenue that you have an agent
If you are registered for myAccount or the Revenue Online Service (ROS), your agent will send you an e-linking request. You will be notified by email that you have received Revenue correspondence.
You will find an Agent Link Request in your myAccount, MyEnquiries or ROS, inbox. You can approve or reject this request from the same page.
Accepting the request through myAccount
You can accept the request submitted by an agent through myAccount by completing the following steps:
- Sign in to myAccount.
- Select 'MyEnquiries' at the top right-hand corner of the screen.
- In MyEnquiries, select the Revenue initiated MyEnquiry entitled 'Agent-Client Link' request.
- You will be directed to the agent link request detail page where you can review the link information.
- You can then choose to approve or reject the link request.
Note
If you are registered for myAccount using the MyGovID facilty, you will need to log into myAccount using your MyGovID credentials.

Accepting the request through ROS
You can accept the request to link to an agent using ROS by completing the following steps:
- Log into ROS.
- Select the 'Revenue Record’ tab at the top of the screen.
- In your ROS inbox, select the Revenue document 'Agent-Link Approval'.
- You will be directed to the agent link request detail page where you can review the link information.
- You can then choose to approve or reject the link request.

If you are not registered for myAccount or ROS, you must complete Authorisation Form PAYE (Pay As You Earn) A1. The Authorisation Form PAYE A2 is no longer available from 1 January 2025.
