Apply for a fuel grant for a driver, passenger or family member with a disability
The online service for tax relief on adapted vehicles allows members of the 'Drivers and Passengers with Disabilities' Scheme to claim an annual fuel grant. If you are a member of the scheme, you can claim up to a maximum of 2,730 litres of fuel each year.
You can apply for the grant if your vehicle is new, used or imported (not previously registered in Ireland).
A vehicle must be approved on the scheme for a period of 12 months prior to claiming the Fuel Grant.

If you are registered for the Revenue Online Service (ROS), sign in and click on ‘Drivers and Passengers with Disabilities’.
