Apply for a fuel grant for qualifying organisations

What is the fuel grant service?

This online service enables member organisations of the Disabled Drivers and Disabled Passengers Scheme to claim an annual fuel grant up to a maximum of 4,100 litres.

Who is the service for?

You can use this service if your organisation qualifies for the Disabled Drivers and Disabled Passengers Scheme. You must also be registered for the Revenue Online Service (ROS) to use the service.

What you need to use the service

You will need the following information to use the service:

  • organisation’s tax reference number
  • vehicle details
  • the start and end dates of the twelve month period for which you are claiming the fuel grant
  • the number of litres for which you are claiming the fuel grant
  • bank account details.

How to access the service

Sign in to ROS and follow these steps:

  • click on the 'Other Services' section from the ROS main menu
  • click on the 'Drivers & Passengers with Disabilities' tile.
