Request your End of Year Statement (P21)

The End of Year Statement (P21) is issued to PAYE customers, and gives details of:

  • your total income from all sources
  • a breakdown of your tax credits
  • any tax and Universal Social Charge (USC) that you have paid during the year
  • any underpayments or overpayments of tax.

How to request an End of Year Statement (P21)

To request an End of Year Statement (P21), you can either: 

  • complete a Form12 
  • use the End of Year Statement (P21) facility in PAYE Services if there are no changes needed to your record. This is where you do not have to claim any additional credits such as health expenses.

How to access this service:

To complete a Form12 through myAccount:

  • click the ‘Review your tax’ link in PAYE Services
  • select the relevant year.

To obtain an 'End of Year Statement' (P21) through myAccount:

    • click the ‘Review your tax’ link in PAYE Services
    • select the relevant year
    • click ‘Request' beside 'End of year statement (P21)’. 

If you are registered for the Revenue Online Service (ROS), you can access this service by either: 

  • clicking  on the 'Form12' card from the 'Other Services' section
  • selecting the 'PAYE Services' tab.
