What is the tax arrears instalment calculator service?

This service will estimate the terms that may apply to a phased payment (instalment) arrangement. Revenue may agree to put this arrangement in place to allow you to pay your tax arrears.

Using the information that you input, the calculator computes the:

• accrued interest
• deferred (projected) interest
• number of months the arrangement will take or the amount of each instalment.

Who is the service for?

This service is suitable for any Revenue customer who wants to apply for an arrangement with us for the payment of arrears of tax. The service allows the customer to estimate the terms of an arrangement before formally submitting an application.

You can apply for an arrangement by completing a PPA1 form and submitting the form to the Collector-General’s Division.
