The LPT valuation bands and basic LPT rates for 2022 to 2025 are shown in the table below. Your valuation band was based on the value of your property as at 1 November 2021.

Properties with a market value greater than €1.75 million
The LPT charge for properties with a market value greater than €1.75 million was not calculated from a valuation band. Instead, the LPT charge was calculated based on the market value of the property as at 1 November 2021.
The LPT charge for these properties is calculated as the sum of:
- 0.1029% of the first €1.05 million of declared market value of the property as at 1 November 2021
- 0.25% of the portion of the declared market value between €1.05 million and €1.75 million
- and
- 0.3% of the portion of the declared market value above €1.75 million.
Local Adjustment Factor
Each Local Authority could increase or decrease the LPT basic rate by up to 15% for the years 2022 to 2025. This is known as the Local Adjustment Factor.
This means the LPT charge for your property may have been different to the LPT basic rate. The Local Adjustment Factor can change every year during the valuation period.
