What is a Revenue determination?

A determination is a formal ruling in relation to specific Value-Added Tax (VAT) matters, for example:

• the rate of VAT on the supply of goods and services
• whether a particular activity is exempt
• whether an activity distorts competition
• whether the open market value can apply to a supply.
