Wholesale Dealer's Licence
Overview
A Wholesale Dealer’s Licence entitles the Licensee to sell alcohol in bulk quantities. You can hold the following Licences singly or in combination (and you may also combine them with Retailer's Off Licence):
- Wholesale Beer Dealer
- Wholesale Wine Dealer
- Wholesale Spirits Dealer
- Wholesale Spirits of Wine Dealer
- Wholesale Sweets Dealer.
The applicant will need a Court Certificate for a Wholesale Beer Dealer’s Licence.
The licensing period is from 1 July to 30 June. These licences will expire on 30 June each year regardless of the issue date.
The cost of each licence is €500. For example, a Wholesale Dealer in Beer costs €500. A Wholesale Dealer in Beer and Spirits costs €1000.
Where you have combined both Wholesale Dealer’s and Retailer’s Off Licences, the Retailer’s Off Licence(s) will also expire on 30 June.
