Benefits of the electronic PoUS system for T2Ls and T2LFs

The main benefits of the PoUS system are as follows:

  • T2L and T2LF requests can be presented electronically without the requirement for paper T2L or T2LF documents.
  • When goods are presented at the customs office of presentation, the economic operator can communicate the corresponding MRN electronically in the PoUS system.
  • The customs office of presentation can check the PoUS system for a proof by using the MRN.
  • If the proof is valid and refers to the goods presented, it is accepted as a PoUS and its use registered in the PoUS system.
