Centralised clearance

Overview

Centralised clearance (CCL) is a Customs simplification under the Union Customs Code (UCC). It allows traders to complete Customs formalities in one Member State while the goods are physically presented in another Member State.

CCL was previously known as Single Authorisation for Simplified Procedures (SASP) and continues to exist during the transitional period under the name 'centralised clearance'.
