Centralised clearance
Who can apply
Centralised clearance is available only to traders who:
- hold an Authorised Economic Operator for Customs Simplifications (AEOC) authorisation
- and
- meet the legal, operational and compliance standards required under the Union Customs Code.
Traders must demonstrate that they have appropriate internal controls, record-keeping systems and compliance history before an authorisation can be granted. Applications can only be accepted on the Customs Decision System (CDS). Please contact SimplifiedProcedures@revenue.ie before lodging an application in CDS.
