When you leave your job
When you leave a job, your employer will let Revenue know that you have finished. They will do this by including a date of leaving on your final payroll submission.
Note
Where your old employer fails to let Revenue know that you have finished your employment, you can use myAccount to cease your old job. Select ‘View/Cease your Job or Pension Details’ on the 'PAYE Services' card to do so.
You can view your pay and Income Tax deductions reported by your employer:
- Sign in to myAccount.
- Under 'PAYE Services' card select ‘Manage your tax for the current year’ link.
