Summary
On 16 July 2026 Judge Ní Chúlacháin ordered the forfeiture to the Exchequer, pursuant to Section 39 of the Criminal Justice Act 1994, of cash amounting to €8,850 which had been seized and detained on 30 July 2024 by Revenue Officers at Trim Garda Station, Castle Street, Trim, County Meath. The cash was ordered to be forfeited as the Court was satisfied that it was proven on the balance of probabilities to represent the proceeds of crime or was intended for use in criminal conduct.
