Court Certificate

You must submit a certificate from the District Court with your application for a licence to operate gaming machines. The certificate will state the period which may be licensed.

The Court may also attach conditions to the certificate such as:

  • limiting the hours during which gaming may be carried on
  • limiting the number of machines
  • restricting the kinds of gaming
  • limiting the amount of the stakes and prizes
  • prohibiting or restricting gaming by persons under specified ages.
