Revenue seize MDMA worth €288,000 in Dublin

 Today, (25/11/2021), as part of ongoing investigations targeting organised crime groups operating in Dublin City, Revenue officers seized approximately 4.8 kgs of MDMA with an estimated value of €288,000.

The seizure was made as a result of a joint operation conducted by Revenue’s Customs Service, the Garda National Drugs & Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB) and the DMR North Central Divisional Drugs Unit.

A 37 year old man was arrested by An Garda Síochána in connection with this seizure and is currently detained under Section 2 of The Criminal Justice (Drugs Trafficking) Act 1996 at Store Street Garda Station.

No further details are available as investigations are ongoing.
