Revenue seize €291,110 in cash at Dublin Airport in two operations
On Monday 27/10/2025, Revenue officers at Dublin Airport seized €291,110 in cash, in two separate operations.
The cash was discovered following indications from Revenue cash detector dog Maggie and follow up examinations by Revenue officers. Two passengers, both scheduled to fly outbound to Turkey, were found with cash amounts of €150,060 and €141,050. The cash was concealed in items of clothing within the passengers’ baggage. The cash discovered was in Euro, in multiple denominations.
Two men, one his 20s and one in his 30s, were questioned at the scene. Investigations into both seizures are ongoing.
