Revenue seize cocaine worth €382,200 at Dublin Airport

On 08/12/2025, as part of routine operations, Revenue officers seized approximately 5.46 kg of cocaine with an estimated value of €382,200 at Dublin Airport. 

The illicit drugs were discovered when Revenue officers stopped and searched the baggage of a passenger who had disembarked a flight from Portugal and discovered the drugs concealed amongst clothing in the bag.

A man in his 20s was arrested by An Garda Síochána and is currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996 at a Dublin Garda Station. 

Investigations are ongoing.
