Revenue seize 600,000 cigarettes at Dublin Airport

On 10/12/2025, as a result of routine profiling, Revenue officers at Dublin Airport seized 600,000 cigarettes with an estimated value of €554,880, representing a loss to the Exchequer of approximately €430,458. The illicit cigarettes, branded ‘Manchester’, were discovered in an air cargo consignment, manifested as Soap & Hair Treatment, that had originated from the Middle East. Investigations are ongoing.
