Revenue seize cannabis worth €348,000 at Dublin Airport

On Tuesday 13/01/2026, as part of routine operations, Revenue Officers at Dublin Airport seized 14.14 kg of herbal cannabis, 8.4 kg of cannabis edible gummies and bars, and 2,000 cannabis capsule tablets. The seizure has an estimated combined value of €348,000.

The cannabis was discovered vacuum packed within the baggage of two male passengers who had previously arrived on a flight originating from the USA.  

Two men were subsequently arrested by An Garda Síochána and have since been charged and appeared before the Dublin District Court on Wednesday 14/01/2026, where they were remanded in custody. 

Investigations are ongoing.
