“Storm Chandra has affected taxpayers and businesses in a variety of ways, and we are aware that this is a challenging and worrying time for many.

Revenue will adopt a pragmatic approach where businesses have been adversely impacted as a result of damage caused by the weather conditions.

Revenue has a strong track record in successfully agreeing flexible payment arrangements where taxpayers and businesses are facing temporary cash flow difficulties, and we will work with those affected by Storm Chandra to take their financial circumstances and capacity to pay into account.

Our advice to taxpayers and businesses impacted by the disruption caused by Storm Chandra is to contact the Collector-General’s office, once their circumstances allow, to agree mutually suitable arrangements to restore timely tax compliance.”
